Every content object in Tuskfish can be accessed simply by passing in its ID as a parameter. For example, https://yoursite.com/?id=10 will open the content with ID 10. You can use any item as a 'section' within your website simply by adding a link to it in your site navigation to raise its profile. Typically you would use a tag, collection or static page for this purpose, but you can use any item you choose.

Both tags and collections can be used to create dynamic (automatically updating) sections within your website. When the full description of a tag or category is viewed the most recent related content is displayed below as a list in teaser format. You can elevate important tags or categories to ‘sections’ of your website simply by creating direct links to them in your site navigation. Use a collection if you want the possibility of subsections (nested collections).

For example, if you want to create a "Publications" section in your website, consisting of downloadable documents, you would first create a "Publications" collection and designate it as the parent of all your download objects. You could also subdivide your Publications page by adding child collections to it, such as "Newsletter", “Magazine” and so on, each of which contains relevant content items. Add a link to the Publications collection in your site navigation and you're done.

You can also specify a custom URL, template, layout and theme by setting up a custom route for the section (Tuskfish v2) or by configuring a static page to display the content of your section (Tuskfish v1).
